A production-line proposal is only as reliable as the inputs behind it. Early information does not need to be perfect, but unknowns should be visible and assigned to a confirmation step.
Product and packaging data
Provide drawings, samples, material descriptions, weight range, tolerances, defect concerns and the complete list of formats expected during the first project phase.
Process and capacity
Describe every operation, target output, current bottleneck, expected efficiency, shift pattern and acceptable buffer. Distinguish peak speed from sustained production output.
Factory layout and utilities
Share a scaled floor plan with columns, doors, drains, ceiling height, traffic routes and maintenance access. List available power, air, water, network and extraction.
Controls and data
Confirm preferred PLC and electrical standards, recipe ownership, production reporting, MES interfaces, user levels and remote-support policy.
Project and site responsibilities
Identify who supplies conveyors, utilities, lifting, local wiring, foundations, samples, packaging materials and installation labor. A responsibility matrix prevents commercial gaps.
Acceptance criteria
Define the products, speed, quality checks, test duration, fault challenges, documentation and open-item process used for FAT and site acceptance.
