Frequently Asked Questions

Prepare Better Inputs and Compare Proposals on the Same Basis

Answers below cover the complete buyer journey from initial feasibility to commissioning and after-sales support.

What information is required for an automation quotation?

Provide product drawings and samples, packaging formats, target speed, current process, factory layout, utilities, destination standards and adjacent-equipment information.

Can you provide a budget price before all details are confirmed?

A preliminary range may be possible, but assumptions and exclusions should be visible. Final price and performance require an agreed technical scope.

How are product samples tested?

Samples are reviewed for dimensions, weight, stability, surface, variation and the proposed handling method. A feasibility test may be recommended before order confirmation.

Can one machine handle multiple sizes or SKUs?

Usually yes within a defined operating window. The proposal identifies recipes, adjustment points, change parts and expected changeover time.

How is output or speed guaranteed?

Output should be tied to agreed products, format, buffer conditions, quality criteria and FAT method rather than a general maximum speed.

Which PLC, robot and electrical brands are available?

Internationally supported brands can be selected according to destination standards, customer preference, spare-parts access and project budget.

What is included in factory acceptance testing?

FAT can include mechanical and electrical inspection, functions, recipes, output, rejects, alarms, safety, fault recovery, changeover and document review.

What happens if some tests can only be completed on site?

The FAT record should identify deferred items, required site conditions, responsibility and the site-acceptance method.

Do you provide installation and operator training?

Remote guidance, installation supervision, commissioning and training can be included according to location and project complexity.

What should the customer prepare before installation?

Site readiness may include foundations, utilities, network, lifting, local contractors, access, production materials and safety coordination.

Which spare parts should be ordered with the machine?

Recommended spares are based on wear rate, criticality, local availability and the buyer’s maintenance strategy.

Can remote diagnostics be included?

Yes, subject to the customer’s network and cybersecurity policy. Access method, permissions and support hours should be agreed.

Before You Compare Prices

Three Gaps That Commonly Create Unfair Quotation Comparisons

Use the same product range, scope boundary and acceptance basis for every supplier.

Buyer Concern Engineering Response

Quoted speed does not reflect real product handling

Test representative samples and define speed together with reject rate, accumulation and changeover assumptions.

Interfaces between machines are unclear

Create an interface list covering signals, heights, product transfers, safety zones and responsibility boundaries.

Installation delays production start-up

Complete FAT, utility checks, site-preparation lists and remote pre-commissioning reviews before shipment.

Still Reviewing the Project?

Ask a Technical Question and Share the Available Project Information

Use the inquiry form to send product details, target output, drawings or a short production video. The response can identify missing inputs and the next useful engineering step.

Can I combine different equipment categories?

Yes. Send one list and note the preferred supply form and quantity for each model.

Can you suggest a suitable MOQ?

Share the target market and product direction, and the team can discuss realistic trial quantities.
